Bed and Breakfast Accommodation

This well appointed B & B provides two double rooms with new en-suite facilities and king-sized beds.  The rooms have full central heating, hair dryer, clock/radio and a full hospitality tray.  We have now upgraded the rooms with new Sony lcd flat screen tv's (Full freeview service).

Indulge yourselves with king sized beds having luxurious 'Christy' 100% percale cotton duvet covers & pillow cases. Both en-suites have similar high quality luxury Egyptian Cotton Towels, a range of luxury 'Cavendish & Clark' toiletries to pamper you, and superb new showers which have excellent water pressure.

Both b&b rooms are south facing and look out over the attractive woodlands opposite the house.  Barn owls, Little Owls,  Marsh Harriers, Green Woodpeckers, Great Spotted Woodpeckers, and many other species of birds are regular visitors to the woodland as are the Red, Fallow (white), and Muntjac deer.

We have tried to include all those extra little things that go to making your stay with us at Bankside b&b especially comfortable, including fresh flowers, an information pack, and the hospitality tray which has a range of teas, coffees, shortbread biscuits, and complimentary bottles of mineral water.

The 'Plover' and 'Tern' rooms are named after birds that regularly visit the nearby coastal area and the renowned RSPB Bird Reserve at Minsmere which is within a picturesque 15 minute drive from 'Bankside' b&b.

We shall be happy to advise guests on the various places of interest nearby and recommend suitable places to eat.  We have a folder of up to date sample menus (and prices)  for the many nearby excellent eating places and would be pleased to make any bookings you may require. We will only recommend those eating establishments that we have personally visited within the last 12 months and have not changed hands since! These restaurants are all within a 15 minute drive from Bankside b&b, and are located in Southwold and surrounding villages
