'Bankside' b&b is situated in the small hamlet of Uggeshall which is within an easy and picturesque 10 minute drive from Southwold and only 15 minutes from the RSPB Reserve at Minsmere. Uggeshall has a beautiful, peaceful, and tranquil location with a stunning 14th Century thatched church in its midst.

Uggeshall village is the perfect place to relax in our bed & breakfast and wind down from the pressures of work and everyday life.  Although quiet and tucked away, Uggeshall is within easy reach of both the A12 and the A145 making communications by road easy and convenient.  Ideal for those short breaks when a peaceful location and ease of transport are essential.

'Bankside' b&b is situated in 'The Hills' which is a quiet side lane in Uggeshall hamlet which carries virtually no traffic!

There are numerous easy walks around Uggeshall from Bankside b&b, and Liz & Nigel would be happy to advise on these routes.

 Henham

'Bankside b&b' is also very convenient for the events that regularly take place at Henham Park which is only about 3 miles from Uggeshall.

Henham Park hosts the ever increasingly popular 'Latitude' concert weekend that takes place every July whilst at other times of the year there are events like the 'Henham Steam Rally' and the 'Henham Wings & Wheels' events.
